A Cozy Little Skull Moment

A cozy dark purple throw blanket with a ram skull surrounded by flowers

There are some collections I enjoy designing, and then there are the ones that make me stop and think, Yes. This is exactly my kind of nonsense.

The skulls are that collection for me.

They’re a little gothic, a little romantic, a little witchy, and somehow still cozy enough to belong in the softest corner of the house. Which is exactly why the newest additions work so well together: gothic skull rocks glasses and the Ram Skull Boho Throw Blanket.

Picture it: the room is dim, the blanket is pulled over your legs, the lights are low, and there’s something good poured into a heavy little rocks glass beside you. Maybe there’s a book. Maybe there’s a storm outside. Maybe you’re pretending not to hear the laundry calling your name.

The Ram Skull Boho Throw Blanket brings in all the soft, moody drama—deep colors, celestial details, florals, crystals, and that beautiful horned skull right in the center of it all. It’s the kind of blanket that makes an ordinary couch feel like it belongs in a slightly haunted cottage with excellent taste.

Then there are the rocks glasses.

Deer skull. Jackalope skull. Ram skull.

They have just enough darkness to feel gothic without becoming novelty Halloween glassware, and they fit perfectly into that same strange little world as the blanket. Together, they make the kind of cozy setup I love most: warm, dramatic, slightly macabre, and completely unapologetic.

The skull collection has always been my favorite part of Thorn & Thimble. There’s something about taking imagery that is usually treated as eerie and surrounding it with flowers, color, celestial details, and softness that makes it feel beautiful instead of grim.

Bones can be lovely.

Apparently they can also be excellent drinking companions.

So if your idea of a perfect evening involves a soft blanket, a good drink, low lighting, and decor that looks like it may know a few secrets, the newest skull pieces may have been made for you.

I know they were definitely made for me.
